TRONUS Donates $25k to women and children in crisis

In honor of Women’s History Month, TRONUS has donated $25k worth of sneakers, socks, and masks to Meg’s House, a women and children’s shelter based in Greenwood, SC that provides a safe haven and free services for those dealing with domestic abuse and homelessness. Being a woman-owned and operated company, we understand first-hand the significance and overall importance of making sure that women and children have the essentials needed to help them live and maintain a healthy lifestyle while getting back on their feet.

“There is nothing more important to maintaining one’s mental health, and that starts with knowing that you and your family have a safe place to lay your head at night and clean clothes on your back,” says Tronus founder Santia Deck. “And as a woman-owned and business, we want to do our part to aid in this effort. We love the work that Meg’s house has been doing in the community for over 20 years and are proud to provide assistance by making sure that the women and children they serve receive pair of comfortable sneakers, clean socks, and a face mask.”

Since their inception, Meg’s House has provided support for over 8,600 clients including emerge shelter, relocation and transitional housing assistance, information and referrals, support groups, and educational services.
